It started over dinner. Our friends spent the evening describing their struggle to find a location for their new children's museum concept. By desert it was decided--we'd give them our beautiful Laughing Turtle storefront in downtown Chapel Hill to get started. This idea gave us the chance to participate in something wondrous for our community, and allowed us to expand our location down the street, utilizing a previously-empty second floor. Kidzu is a gift for all of us. Our charming little Downtown is aglow with children and their families coming for a day of fun, and the kids learn a bunch along the way. Come visit soon. We keep the gift shop full of books and toys, while the museum keeps this special spot on Franklin Street brimming with fun.
